Here at LIT, we are able to add or remove PIR sensors to external lights, add or remove pulls or switches to wall lights, lengthen or shorten pendant flex. We can even design and create a light to suit your specifications.

Bespoke Service

We can add or remove a switch or pull from a wall light; adjust pendant heights to suit your room; add or remove a sensor from an external light; design and create lights to your specifications. In fact, there’s little we can’t do.

LIT has become a unique lighting showroom experience, in that you can relax, have one-to-one service and advice, even have a coffee, purchase quality lighting with a difference, have them delivered and installed, buy your bulbs, shades, matching cushions and accessories such as switches and sockets all under one roof at excellent prices.

About us

What do you get when you have an English teacher who has always dreamt of having her own shop, and an electrician who has always wanted a lighting showroom? – LIT!

Formed in Cheshire, in 2019 by Jill Rose and Stephen Crozier, LIT is the product of a joint passion and enthusiasm for lighting. It has become a local family business, with Jake Rose also on the shop floor, ready to offer advice and guidance. And Jill’s other son, Dylan, can be seen out and about in the community, delivering their leaflets.

Jill’s art background enables her to offer advice to LIT’s customers, regarding style, colour and design, whilst Steve’s expertise as an electrician, means he can offer advice on any technical issue. Jake’s classical background means that customers can relax while his music tranquilly plays in the background.

Based in the heart of Stanley Green Retail Park, amongst many other home decor showrooms, means that LIT’s premises are ideally situated.

Because we have our own electrician, it means that we can install the beautiful lights that you choose for your home. It also means that we can usually find a way around any hindrances or electrical problem. It gives us freedom of offering our customers a bespoke service.

As well as bulbs, we can offer you matching accessories such as switches and sockets in chrome, brushed chrome, bronze or copper and, Steve, our electrician, can install them for you. We can even supply and install the ring doorbell and integrated security lights for you so that you can speak to whoever is on your doorstep from wherever you are in the world.

Classic, stylish exterior wall lights, pendants, bollards and posts in various finishes, many with PIR sensors. Many are versatile and adjustable, so that you can tailor the illumination time and detection angle to suit your requirements, automatically activating your lights.
